South Summit County Trail Report – 3/21/21

All trails are muddy! Even though it’s tempting, please avoid the trails until they are dry. This photo of the Coyote Trail in Wasatch County was taken last year in the spring and it shows really bad ruts from mountain bike tires. This type of damage is hard to repair and requires a lot of volunteer effort to do so. **(Horse riders use the Yellow Pine Trail only, Mtn Bikers and Fat Bikers please avoid all trails until dry)

Here’s your trail report:

<Oakley Trail & Seymour Canyon: mix of snow and mud.
<Oakley Trail Park: mix of snow and mud.
<Franson Lane Trail: mix of snow and mud.
<Stevens Grove Trail: mix of snow and mud.
<High Star Ranch Trail: muddy at at lower elevations & snow covered up high. Mtn bikers please avoid!
<Bench Creek Trail: mostly snow covered with muddy sections.
<Lake View Trail at Rockport: mostly muddy, some snow.
<Beaver Creek Trail: snow covered.
<Yellow Pine Horseback Riding Trail: snow covered.
<Tuhaye Trail (county line trail): mix of snow and mud.
