Fundraising Do you know how to write grants? Do you know people or organizations interested in supporting our mission? Do you like to plan events? Do you have experience in funds development? We would love your help.
The fundraising committee helps find and apply for grants, plan events, recruit sponsors and supporters and much more. Fundraising is vital to the progress of building trails. Without your help we do not have the support we need to get the job done.
Communications Do you love Facebook, Instagram, and other social media? Do you like to write? Do you enjoy networking and talking to people? Do you have skills in editing or graphic design? We need your help!
The communications committee helps share our message to new constituents and current members. This committee will manage social media, including our Facebook page and website responsible for promoting our mission and goals.
Government Relations Are you an advocate? Do you want to influence local legislation? Do you enjoy community planning and development? Do you have skills in strategizing with special interest groups? We have a place for you.
The government relations committee helps to represent SSTF with local governing bodies as well as helping us strategize positive relationships with private land owners, community members, interested organizations and much more.
Mapping Do you enjoy planning? Do you have technical knowledge to plot, map and produce trail data? Do you know most of the trails in the South Summit area? We need your help.
The mapping committee will help capture current trail data to create a digital and printed map then generate project ideas to accomplish SSTF mapping goals into the future.
Projects Do you enjoy recruiting and managing volunteers? Do you love using your hands to create something for future generations? Have you always wanted to learn more about trail building? This is the place for you.
The Project committee will manage the SSTF trail building projects. From picking up a shovel to planning trail building event logistics, this committee will get the trails built and ensure they are in line with trail building goals and standards.
